Sea Glass: Superwash Opulence MCN Hand Painted Sock Yarn, 150 grams!

A Fishtastic yarn called Sea Glass made with our Opulence MCN base:

This is an extra big skein for all of you shawl knitters who need more yardage! At 600 yards and 150 grams, this is the skein for you!

While walking on the beach I always find bits of glass that have been polished by the constant motion of the ocean. They're sometimes perfectly smooth, sometimes a little rough around the edges, but always beautiful:-)

Opulence MCN: 80% Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon 2-ply high twist. 400 yards, 100 grams. The two plies in this yarn plump together making a luxuriously soft and bouncy yarn. This is sold as a superwash, but it is Cashmere so treat with care. Machine washable, but be careful, if you love your socks, treat them well and handwash them, they'll last longer.

This yarn was kettle dyed and although I know what I did and can do it again, it will not be repeatable to make an identical skein. I can, however, dye many more skeins in about the same way and make lots of pretties, they just won't match this one exactly. If you'd like to make a larger project and would like similar yarn, please contact me and I'll dye your skeins together so that they will at least match each other closely:-)
