Mean Red #2: Superwash Warm Heart, Promenade DK, or Bountiful bases

I spent a little time last summer trying to dye the perfect red. What I accomplished were 6 different shades of perfect red, and the understanding that red is relative, and that nobody's perfect. What's your perfect red? Mean Red #2 has an orangish tinge;-) This beautiful Red would be a beautiful compliment to another colorway, or a wonderful stand alone color for a luscious shawl:-)

Warm Heart: 100% Superwash Merino 2-ply high twist. 400 yards, 100 grams. The two plies in this yarn plump together making a luxuriously soft and bouncy yarn. A soft and fluffy yarn, soft enough for scarves or shawls, yet strong enough for socks.

Promenade: 100% Superwash Merino 4-ply DK weight. 231 yards, 100 grams. A squishy, soft, smooth DK weight yarn. Lots of bounce, great for hats, mittens and scarves and sweaters. Machine wash, cool dry.

Bountiful 2: 100% Superwash Merino worsted. 218 yards, 100 grams. A squishy, soft, smooth worsted weight yarn. Lots of bounce, great for hats, mittens and scarves. Machine wash, cool dry.

~400 yds, 100 grams
7-8 stitches = 1 inch on US 1-3
